Lovely staff, charming decor, smell of wood burning stove is wonderful. Waiter Louis is attentive and kind, and bartender Eduardo made a festive passion fruit sparkling wine cocktail complete with sugar coated rose petal. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Definitely I love this place ! The atmosphere, the food and service were good ! what I liked the most , was the octopus with risotto I had ! My husband ordered the aguachiles and the taste was stunning ! The shrimp was so fresh ! Oscar was our server ! He was awesome ! For dessert we had the platano a la lena which actually everything is cooked over wood , that’s why everything has a unique flavor!

Best restaurant in Playa, and maybe all of Mexico! Outstanding service, and the most incredible dishes. Prices are phenomenal for the quality and freshness of this food. The ring of a bell outside, and you are welcomed into an upscale oasis. We were blown away and so content! Emanuel was our waiter both times and treated us like royalty. Can't get service like that in the US.

Highly recommend, great atmosphere, food and staff. After a short conversation, you can tell the owner loves what he does and shared with the staff. BTW, all the food is cooked over a wood fire.

Oscar provided attentive service and made helpful recommendations. We had a medium ribeye and a medium rare ribeye, both of which were cooked perfectly. The chef even came out to ask if we wanted a hot skillet to warm up the steak halfway through the meal. The octopus with risotto was a deliciously large portion, and I took half of it home. We really wanted a good steak, and this place did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

We had the best date night here! Luis took care of us all night and helped us make the best food choices. The pork with mole glaze is amazing. My husband has the ribeye with aguaschiles sauce. If they have fresh Mussels from La Paz, get them!! What a treat. I didn't see any chocolate dessert on the menu, so he asked the kitchen to make a chocolate rice dish with ice cream. So unique and tasty! The wine menu is fab. The location is so convenient but you feel far away from the city. I can't believe we have lived here for 5 years and never visited before. The best!!

We went here based on recommendations from our friends that own a place down there. We called to ensure they were open and we went on a Saturday night at 5:00. Yes, we like to eat early. We were there for a couple hours and enjoyed all of the things. A few rounds of drinks. Mine were delicious. We had a couple of the apps (bone marrow tacos were amazing) and then something with like a squid ink type liquid ceviche, also good. There were so many things that I wanted to try but we opted for a family style platter that they recommend. It was more than sufficient for 2 guys and 4 girls. One of my favorite things was the faccacia style bread and this red paste of a sauce that ahead all the flavors. I meant to get some togo to bring back home but had drank and forgot. Hahaha. Next time!!!! Oscar was our server and very pleasant. I read a review from someone that said they had a server that didn’t speak any English. But hey, we are in Mexico. I don’t know Spanish but the menu comes in English and you can easily point. Also, as a guest, use your phone for Google translate. Not that hard. Bonus for me was that they put a soccer game on. Google maps showed the restaurant on the other side of the street for some reason so make sure you look on both sides of the street. We will be back if we ever make it that way.

Great restaurant away from the tourist area but well worth it to make your way there. The restaurant design is very nice with an open kitchen concept. The food was excellent, the service was great! Highly recommended coming here for dinner you wont be disappointed!
